Henry came to my Meriden Portrait Photography Studio for to celebrate his first birthday with a smash cake photography session. I have had the pleasure of photographing not only Henry since birth, but his big brother too since he was in his mom’s belly. It’s been amazing to get to know this family.
To celebrate Henry & his extra chromosome Mom came up with the idea to base the session theme off the poem called “Welcome to Holland” by Emily Perl Kingsly, where it describes what it’s like to be expecting a child with a disability. This was a hard set for me to draw up since there isn’t much “inspiration”. I went lots of windmills and tulips. It was so fun putting this session together. Henry was full of smiles and really got down into his cake. I couldn’t really narrow down my favorites, so it’s an overload share. After you see them, then let me know if you agree.
