Beautiful Samara came to my studio at 1 month new for her newborn photography session. While typically I do newborn sessions in the first couple weeks, I cannot turn away moms who want newborn photos of their precious baby. A 1-2 week old newborn is generally very sleepy and “bendy” making it easy to get them into poses. As they get older they are awake more, less bendy and more aware of their surroundings so they don’t like to be touched. If a mom books a session later than normal, I will adjust the session to the baby. We may get more wrapped poses than normal, and some more awake shots. Samara was the exception to the rule though. Mom followed my session prep suggestions & she slept like a champ the entire session. I was blown away by all that she let me do. In fact, Mom & Dad opted for a newborn mini session given her age, but then when she was doing so well, they immediately upgraded their session to a Deluxe Newborn Session at the studio. The tan backdrop with pink & gold accents were a perfect choice for this beauty.
