Snow Princesses | CT Child Photographer

During my attempts at finding pictures to print off photos for my family member’s Christmas Presents, this past holiday, I noticed that I seriously slacked on taking pictures of my own girls. Now I did take lots of candid photos like when we went on vacation, birthday parties, etc. But nothing formal that I would love to print off and frame. With our new baby arriving in just a couple short weeks, I came to a decision that for 2013 (& hopefully longer) I will be doing a Monthly “Make Sure I Take Pictures of My Girls” Project! ๐Ÿ™‚ I really need to shorten that name. I realized that I lost sight of how and why I really got into photography. 2012 was such a great year, and I wouldn’t have it any other way, I just wish I would have made more time to do the little things I enjoy doing.

I know this is a little early, but why not?! We got an amazing snow storm just 2 nights ago, so I decided yesterday to take the kids out and take snow pictures. The way CT winters have been lately, I am not sure when we will see more snow. This session sure did not last very long as the kids were freezing. Trust me, we did wear coats between shots and did not take more than 10 minutes worth of pictures. The walk to the trail with coats was longer than the session lasted. Aubrey fell in the snow trying to make her skirt spin & it was all done from there!

Those were excellent pictures of my beautiful great granddaughters. I miss seeing them, but it looks like Paige has grown very tall. Aubrey is so cute and little. I miss all of you and we send our love. Nanny and Poppy
