One of the most meaningful parts of being a Connecticut newborn photographer is building long-term relationships with families as they grow. This recent newborn photography session in Meriden, CT was especially special to me… I had previously photographed this sweet baby girl’s two older brothers as newborns, and now I had the honor of welcoming their first baby sister into the studio.
While Mom was excited to go completely all girl this time with soft pinks, whites, and dainty tulle. She also wanted to keep one important element familiar. Both big brothers have newborn portraits hanging on the walls at home featuring a bear theme, and it was important to her that their baby sister have an image that could hang right alongside theirs.
To tie everything together, we carefully incorporated a soft teddy bear into her newborn session. It was the perfect way to honor her brothers’ portraits while still keeping the session feminine, timeless, and cohesive. This small but meaningful detail created a beautiful connection between all three siblings and made her gallery even more special for the family.
