I met Baby D just after his first birthday for his Smash Cake Session back in February! He was such a delight to work with, but super shy. It took a lot of warming up for him to take pictures, but finally the fun really started. That was until we brought out this beautiful Monster cake by Blessed Baked Goods out of Hamden. I have never seen a kid more afraid of frosting then him in my life.  We tried tricking him and placing his favorite snacks on the cake, but he would tip toe around the frosting that had fallen off on the carpet. It was hilarious. It was a good thing I nailed the first shot of him sitting down to the cake, because he was not going anywhere near it after that 🙂 Here are a couple shots of Mr. D from his session 🙂
