It’s no secret that Smash Cake Fist Birthday Sessions are one of my favorite sessions to shoot. They allow me to be creative & have fun with a theme. For years, I have thought about wanting to do a Hocus Pocus themed smash cake session. I waited patiently each year for a client to request it, but alas it never happened. This year I made it my goal to just make it happen. I really wanted to have 3 babies to represent each of the Sanderson Sisters, but worried if I did a smash cake session it would be hard to find 3 models willing to do something like this with another baby. I went for it anyway. I was able to find a client who had a cousin and friend all with baby girls around the same age! Once the models were secured I totally ran with the theme working the details with some of my favorite vendors. Specifically look at the amazing cake from my baker You’ve Been Cupcaked! in Wallingford!
