{Holiday Portraits} | Meriden CT Family Children Photographer | Mini Sessions

Wow, it’s been a very busy couple of months, with no plans of stopping until after the Holidays. I just wanted to take a second to make a general post regarding my plans for the Holiday season up to 2012.

All holiday portrait sessions need to be booked for before Thanksgiving. Due to the increased inquiries during the holiday season, your session is not considered booked until the $75 Retainer has been made. The retainer is applied to your session fee total and the remaining balance is due at the session. Inquiry only does not guarantee your date and time. After Thanksgiving, Holiday Portraits are subject to a rush fee. I will continue to do Newborn Portraits, Smash Cakes, etc without a rush fee if the portraits are not for Christmas gifts, or holiday cards.

Important Dates to remember:

October 21st and 22ndPumpkin Patch Mini Sessions. Come in your Fall attire, or costumes for some fun at the pumpkin patch.

November 11th & 18th- Now announcing my Christmas Mini Sessions. Sessions will be held at my home studio and will have all sorts of props to use. Like always, all sessions are custom to each client! These sessions are perfect if you just want a couple images for Christmas cards, but don’t want a full session. Due to the size of my studio and time restrictions, sessions are limited to 3 children, but if you are looking for family portraits I will be happy to a full session on location given dates are still available.

Changes for 2012:

I am very thankful for everyone who have made my 2011 year such a huge success! And I cannot wait for 2012. This year has been so much fun and so excited that I found something I am truly happy doing. However, I do have a very young family at home, and this year as taken a lot of time away from them. So for 2012, I will have very limited sessions available. I will only be taking 8 sessions per month, and 1 wedding. No exceptions. I really feel that this change will benefit not only my family, but you as my client. Less sessions means more personal attention for you, and faster turn around.  I care a lot about my clients, they are like family to me, so I feel this change will be for the best.

With that said, if you are thinking about booking a Session, or Wedding for 2012, don’t think about it, just do it. Sessions are already beginning to book, and it’s never too early to schedule your newborn session.

I look forward to the Holidays and all the beautiful Children and Families I will be creating timeless portraits for.  To book a session, or to ask more questions, you can check out my work or check out my calendar at http://www.ElizabethFrederickPhotography.com, or you can email me directly at Liz@ElizabethFrederickPhotography.com
