Josh | Class of 2013 | Wallingford, CT Senior Photographer

See it’s not always about the girls. I do get a boy from time to time. Josh came to me for his senior session as a referral from a long time friend. I was so honored that she would do this for me.  We headed over to one of my new favorite stomping grounds Wadsworth Mansion  in Middletown. It’s definitely a gorgeous location now. WAAAYYYY back when I was a senior at Mercy it was abandoned and rumored to be Haunted. The owners of the property really turned this old building around. We just had lots of fun walking around this property snapping away during our session.

Now for the most amazing shot of the session. Randomly one of the shots, that I must say I nailed, ended up having this big ball of light. It still puzzles me to this day. I shot in this same spot for several frames, behind him is so wooded & the sun was just way too high to cause a reflection like that. My lens I was shooting with is my “work horse” lens, I always use it. It’s clean & in fact, I used it for several sessions after his session before noticing this shot. Everyone has their own theory on what this magical ball of energy is, but whatever it is, it made for a perfectly amazing shot!
