Lucas | CT Newborn Photographer

There is something so timeless about a newborn session filled with soft blues, warm greys, and simple details. This sweet baby boy’s session featured a beautiful mix of both colors, creating a calm and classic gallery that his family can enjoy for years to come.

We used several shades of blue throughout his session, pairing them with neutral grey tones for a soft and cozy look. From carefully wrapped poses to adorable newborn props, every setup was designed to keep the focus on his tiny features—his little fingers, sleepy expressions, and sweet newborn details that change far too quickly.

One of the things I love most about photographing newborns is creating a gallery that feels coordinated without every image looking exactly the same. Using a consistent color palette allowed us to create plenty of variety while still giving the finished gallery a beautiful, cohesive feel. The combination of blue and grey was perfect for this little guy and gave his portraits a timeless style that will look beautiful displayed in his family’s home.

Newborn sessions are scheduled with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and cuddling throughout the morning. Every baby is different, so I follow their cues and move through the session at a comfortable pace. My studio provides the wraps, outfits, props, and accessories needed for the session, making the experience as simple and stress-free as possible for new parents.

If you are expecting and searching for a CT newborn photographer, I would love to help you create beautiful portraits of your newest addition. Newborn sessions are typically reserved before your baby arrives, using your due date as a placeholder. Once your baby is born, we will select the perfect session date.
