Welcome Little Miss Newborn A!

I met Miss A’s Mom & Dad back at their maternity session & although they found out the sex, they were saving telling everyone the name until the birth of their little girl. They wouldn’t even tell me & I swore to secrecy! Now that I know her name, I completely approve, but I might be biased. 😛 Here is a little something from their session from back in February.

Little Miss A came down to the studio a couple weeks ago for her Newborn session when she was just 14 days new. At first she wasn’t feeling having her pictures taken, but soon got into the groove of things. I love the challenge of newborns, to photograph them all peacefully just the way they are, yet behind the scenes is far from that. Miss A was no exception to the rule. One of the most common questions I get at a newborn session is “Will they ever sleep?”. I always answer that they do, but newborn sessions are 90% waiting, soothing, feeding, positioning, then 10% shooting & I get a full gallery all the time! One of my best qualities is patience. 🙂

& Now some baby macro <3 I absolutely LOVE using my macro lens with newborns to document those little features since they are only this little for so long. I just love the simplicity & beauty of it.

I can’t wait to work with Miss A again and watch her grow up!
