{Feature Friday} Covid-19 Coronavirus Studio Precautions (UPDATED 1.14.2022) | CT Newborn Baby Photographer

  • Updated 1/14/2022 While most policies have remained in effect since this post was last updated, with the decline of cases I started booking mini sessions in studio back to back, I have decided with increase cases to temporally suspend this. I will be booking sessions with at least 24 hours between all other sessions. Glitter Mini sessions that were originally scheduled for this weekend, will be sometime in the spring.

Dear Client,

In the midst of all this coronavirus stuff going on, I wanted to take a moment to tell you plans for when the studio will be open again. Policies will be subject to change depending on government orders, but this is not stopping me from making plans for the future to help put your minds at ease when booking a newborn session with Elizabeth Frederick Photography. A few months ago, before the corona virus COVID-19 made it’s way into disrupting our daily lives, I made this blog post on how I handle sicknesses. In addition to all of those policies, I will be also be implementing 3 new policies. 48 hours between clients, Immediate household members only & no outside props.

  • To ensure 48 hours between clients, I will be only scheduling sessions a few days a week. Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays. Saturdays will be reserved for smash cake & milestone sessions. Especially when I first open up as I had to push all these sessions 3 months.
  • I have in the past been very loose with this rule of immediate family members only & made exceptions here and there. Going forward I will only be allowing Mom, Dad & any siblings. Like usual, siblings will be allowed to come in the beginning of the session for their part, then will need to leave with Dad. Not only does this make the session go smoother, but the less people the better. Smash Cake & Milestone sessions will be one adult only.
  • My studio has lots and lots of props to choose from, and we always plan sessions so there is a chance there will be something you love here too. This just ensures that all the props inside my studio have been sanitized properly before use.

In Addition (added 6/11/2020):

  • Masks must be worn by everyone over 2 years old, photographer included.
  • Rescheduling fee is temporarily suspended. If you or any one of your family members show any sign or symptoms of COVID-19, or any sickness, you will be asked to reschedule your session for a later date. please see Sick Policy below photo.
  • Upon Entering the studio, there will be hand sanitizer for everyone to use & masks just in case you forgot yours. Hand sanitizer will also be available around the studio.

These will likely be temporary studio policy changes through the end of 2020. In addition to above, I am looking into ways to make it even more safe for your newborn baby during their newborn photography session.
